The best vegan waffles

Fancy some waffles? Why not make them yourself, we guarantee they taste miles better than the store bought ones, which also contain lots of sugar and oil. Try this healthy vegan waffle recipe, contains Reboost’s very own Fibre Mix, improve your fibre intake and help your gut health.  



Dry ingredients:
1 3/4 cup plain white flour or oat flour

1/2 cup rolled oats
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp Fibre Mix 

Wet ingredients:
1 1/4 cup plant-based milk
1 tsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
1/4 cup grapeseed oil
1/4 cup maple syrup

1. Combine all wet ingredients in a bowl and let set for a few minutes to curdle. Set aside.

2. Add dry ingredients to a large mixing bowl and whisk until well combined. Then add wet ingredients to it and mix well. The mixture will be slightly thick.

3. Let it set for 5-10 minutes while your waffle iron preheats. Once the waffle iron is ready, brush the surface with oil and pour on about 1/2 cup batter. Cook until the batter turns hard and golden. Once the waffle is cooked, carefully remove from waffle maker. Serve fresh or store them in freezer.
